Description:

Monserrat is the oldest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, and bears the privilege of housing the most ancient part of town, around De Mayo Square, main scenery of the country´s political life.

The Cathedral, The Pink House, The Cabildo, the Legislative Body in Buenos Aires, the House of Culture and the Palace of Government, some of the most significant buildings in the city, are found here.
