Description:

Puerto Madero is the newest and most modern neighborhood in Buenos Aires. The planning for this infrastructure located in the old harbor area was begun in 1989, locating it on a privileged landscape of docks, rotary bridges, cranes and parks.

Impressive towers for housing and offices were built during the last years. A great variety of restaurants was opened on the ground floors of the recycled docks – old red brick buildings used to store goods, consolidating the area as a great gastronomy spot in a cosmopolitan environment.

The neighborhood also bears an unusual historic legacy, exposed through works of art, sculptures and monuments.

It is one of the most exclusive places in Buenos Aires, due to its closeness to the city’s downtown area, its parks and restaurants, and the exclusive riverfront view. The docks and El Puente de la Mujer (Woman´s bridge), turn it into the perfect place for walking, having a meal , or simply sitting and enjoying the view.
